New CATS System
Forgot Username
Your username is your GW email address (e.g. example@gwu.edu).
Forgot Password
Your password for CATS is your NetID password (same that you use to log in to other campus systems, like GWMail). You can reset your password online here: https://identity.gwu.edu/claim/index
Old CATS System
Forgot Username
Your username is your GW NetID (the part of your email before '@' symbol).
Forgot Password

"You have exceeded the maximum login attempts."
The system lockout timer resets after 15 minutes. Please wait 15 minutes and then try again.
If you are still receiving this error message after 15 minutes, please try the following steps:
- Completely close out of your browser (all tabs) and then try again. Often, this will fix the issue.
- If step 1 doesn't fix it, try opening up an incognito/private window and then try again (instructions here).
- If step 2 temporarily fixed the problem, you can fix it permanently by clearing your cache/cookies in your web browser (instructions here).
Page Does Not Load
This issue occurs when you are not on the campus network or connected to the GW VPN. You can solve this issue by either connecting to the GW campus wifi (GWireless) or by connecting to the GW VPN.

Login Dialog Does Not Appear
